The physical space for your event will play a big part in determining what the experience will be like for everyone who attends.
As part of your plan, you will create a 3D-rendering of this space to show what your vision is for this event.
    Instructions
  • You will complete the assignment using Tinkercad
  • If you have never used Tinkercad before, you should watch the tutorial video below after you have created an account. It will show you the basics of Tinkercad, step by step.
  • You will create a personal account and you can join using your existing Google Account. Do not select the option to join a class.
  • Make sure to consider the following elements when creating your event space:

  1. Main Stage (and possibly smaller stage areas)
  2. Video Screens
  3. Stands with seats and standing room (for General Admission)
  4. VIP area near stage
  5. Washroom area
  6. Food and beverage area
  7. Medical and security area
NOTE: Safety at a show like this is paramount and when designing the site you should consider factors including wind, sun, wetness and staging supports. Accidents have happened at events like this and any oversight is unacceptable. Be able to explain where you have considered safety.
  • When you have finished, have a fellow classmate look at your design and get some feedback.
  • Make any necessary changes
  • Click here to complete the checklist.
  • After any necessary revisions, share it with your teacher by including a Tinkercad link to your design in Google Drive in a Google Document or Google Drawings and a few screenshot images of your design from different angles.
