- Choose two of the situations below and make an argument for and against each one. Argue for each one using facts and your knowledge of right and wrong and then argue against it.
- Each statement should be brief (2-4 points or sentences).
- You can search online for information, but make sure to provide references for supporting materials.

Statement you can select (select two):
- Our medical records should be digitally stored online for all medical professionals to access within the hospital when needed.
- Voting should be done 100% online for both provincial and federal elections.
- School report cards and daily attendance should only be digital and passwords should be issued for parents to log in and check results.
- Schools should be closed and teachers and students should begin learning in virtual classrooms using digital technology at home.
- Digital textbooks should completely replace paper textbooks.

- Do you think having Internet access is a basic human right? Explain why or why not.
- Do you think there are enough public places for people who need Internet access, but have none at home? Explain why or why not.
- Are you ever concerned about your privacy when it comes to sharing information on a computer or your smartphone? Do you consider ways you can prevent your privacy being invaded? Discuss why or why not.
- Do you ever worry that what you might post as a younger person could come back to cause trouble for you later in life? Explain why or why not.
- What do you think is the biggest issue for young people when it comes to digital access and privacy? Explain. Place your answer to this last question in bold.
