Stage 3 - The Price is Right

A good budget should help lead you to a successful event. Below are some resources showing how to use spreadsheet formulas, how spreadsheets work, and also what the elements of a good budget look like. Use these resources to first learn the structure of a good spreadsheet budget and then to build and adaptive spreadsheet that responds when new information is entered. For example, if your teacher were to change the number of fans attending the show your spreadsheet should also change total tickets sold as well as total earnings and even profits.


Instructions
  1. For this assignment you will use Google Sheets (spreadsheet) in Google Docs. View the four videos below that explore the features in Google Sheets that you will be using. 
  2. See an image below (after the videos) of an example of a basic budget that you can use as a guide. 
  3. Research online and try to determine the most realistic figures for your budget items. 
  4. When you have completed the budget, click here and complete the checklist.
  5. Make any necessary revisions and then share the budget with your teacher through Google Drive.
