Stage 4 - Classic Concert Poster

There are a lot of people around the world who collect concert posters. Concert posters advertise everything a person needs to know but also in an artistic way.

Here are some things you will want to include in your poster:
  • Images of the 4 musical acts and their names
  • The date and time of the concert
  • The location of the concert
  • The concert's name
  • Price of concert tickets and where to buy them 
  • Location
  • Where to find more information (suggestions: website, social media)

Instructions
  1. For this assignment, consider using Canva. You probably used it in a previous unit. 
  2. Research online and check out examples of concert posters. 
  3. Do your best to use copyright friendly or copyright free images. Record all your sources (the links - not Google, but direct links to the images). You do not have to put the links on the poster, but in the final checklist Google form for this activity.
  4. Show your poster to another student and get some feedback.
  5. Make any any revisions on the poster based on the feedback.
  6. Download it as a png image file or get a shared link for viewing.
  7. Upload the image file or shared link of your poster to Google Docs. 
  8. Title it "Concert Poster" and share it with your teacher. 
  9. When you have completed your poster and shared it with your teacher, click here to complete and submit the checklist.
