Assignment #3 of 3 (Electronic Mail)

The video below is older and discusses email. While email is not as commonplace today, it is still used quite a bit in many workplaces. Additionally, email accounts are still popular when setting up online accounts and can be used for verification purposes.
View the video and remember to carefully answer the questions because the answers to the videos are part of the assessment for this unit. Never answer a question if you are doubtful, watch the section again if you are unsure of the answer.

Consider the following questions when completing your journal entry in your Google Document titled "Journal Entries BBT." Subtitle it "Journal #2: Digital Communication".
  • What did you find most surprising when it comes to digital communication? Explain.
  • Do you sometimes think you overuse your smartphone (such as texting) when you could communicate in other ways? Explain why or why not? 
  • Find out what is meant by Blind Carbon copy (BCC) by clicking here. State what it is. When do you think you would you use a Blind Carbon copy in an email? Explain. 
  • Out of the information you reviewed today, what do you think is most important thing for young people to consider when using digital communication? Explain. Place your answer to this last question in bold.
